Work Description: The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) Small Craft Harbours (SCH) and the Contacting Authority (Public Works and Government Services Canada [PWGSC]) requires the demolition and disposal of a 240ft long concrete float. Deconstruction of the float will include material separation, sorting and placement in disposal bins or trucks. Materials must be sorted prior to delivery to disposal or recycling facility. The concrete float is located at Steveston, Richmond, BC and must be towed away to Contractor’s proposed demolition site for processing. Delivery Date: The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by May 31, 2022. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost $100,001 to $500,000.
