Description:

Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: UPDATE National Combat Ration Program (NCRP) Requirements - Procurement Strategy NOTE: This notice is intended to provide an update following the 2nd Request for Information (RFI) W8486-22SP0G/B regarding the Procurement Strategy and innovative procurement approaches to satisfy the current and future needs of the National Combat Ration Program (NCRP) for the Department of National Defence (DND). DND and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) completed six one-on-one industry engagement sessions in the summer of 2021 to clarify suppliers responses and to ask additional questions. Canada is currently looking into two possible scenarios on the future delivery of the NCRP. The scenarios are: 1. competing for one contract with one company to deliver all requirements under the program; or 2. competing multiple contracts to multiple companies. Based on industry consultation, additional time is required to conduct an analysis of Canada’s options and how to best deliver the NCRP in the future Through the RFI process, Suppliers are encouraged to join the engagement process at any time by contacting the Contracting Authority during the engagement activities. Once more information is gathered, Canada will be providing further information through additional RFI updates. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
