The site is approximately 25 square kilometers in size. The access road to the Faro Mine Complex extends approximately 22 km from the Town of Faro to the mine, gaining over 400 m in elevation. Description: Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), on behalf of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC), has a requirement to establish Contract with Task Authorizations (TAs) to provide Environmental Monitoring Services at the Faro Mine and Vangorda Mine located in the Faro Mine Complex (FMC), Yukon Territory. The services are to be performed on site or adjacent offsite properties using federal, and territorial standards. The Work or a portion of the Work to be performed under the Contract will be on an "as and when requested basis" using a Task Authorization (TA) process. Scope of Services: Services will include but not limited to: water quality monitoring, water level and flow monitoring, geotechnical monitoring, toxicity testing, other environmental monitoring (such as air quality, aquatic effects, meteorological, revegetation and wildlife), operating the on-site laboratory, data management and analysis, environmental auditing and reporting, inventory and equipment maintenance, overall management and administration of the Contractor’s activities, and other associated services. The services to be performed under the Contract will be on an "as and when requested basis" using a Task Authorization (TA). The Work described in the TA must be in accordance with the scope of the Contract. Optional Virtual Bidders’ Conference: An Optional Virual Bidders’ Conference is scheduled on December 14, 2021, at 10:00AM PST through MS Teams. See RFP event content for additional details and instructions. Duration of Contract: The period of the Contract is three (3) years from date of award. At Canada’s sole discretion, the term of the Contract may be extended by up to two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods, under the same terms and conditions. Value of Project: The estimated value for the initial contract period is $21,000,000.00, including taxes. Submission Requirements and Evaluation: Mandatory and Point Rated criteria are included.
