Sworn Transcription Services This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Quebec Region. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This standing offer includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement requires sworn transcription services for electronic recordings from the various judicial districts of the province of Quebec containing the Crown’s submissions on sentencing, comments from judges who preside over trials, and the actual sentences. A complete transcript of a trial could also be requested. Objectives: The Contractor, a court reporter, must provide CSC with a service for sworn transcripts of electronic recordings from all registry in the province of Quebec in both official languages (English and French). CSC estimates that there will be approximately 2,500 transcription records per year with a maximum of 5% of transcription records in English. Deliverables: Transcripts must be sent by email, at the contractor’s expense, to the Court Liaison and Document Retrieval Unit (CLDRU) located at the Montréal Courthouse within ten (10) working days of the date on which the electronic recordings were received. CSC does not provide software, USB keys or other technological means to process or transfer sensitive information. The supplier must have an adequate technological to protect information according to the Contract Security Program (CSP) of PSPC. For example: The supplier may use epostTM to send documents through Canada Post at the contractor’s office or at a CSC office. epostTM is an accredited product for sending sensitive information over the Internet. Term of Standing Offer: Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period from the date of award to August 31st, 2024 with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods.
