Defence Construction Canada – Project No. GW002098 – Invitation To Tender (ITT) - Reconstruct Taxiway Echo, 14 Wing Greenwood, Nova Scotia In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the province where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Proposals from contractors to reconstruct Taxiway Echo at 14 Wing Greenwood, Nova Scotia. The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than June 30, 2023 and that the Work must reach Completion no later than 30 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion. However, all work in Taxiway Echo South (Area 2 in the CONOPS plan) up to and including the base lift of asphalt is to be completed no later than November 15, 2022 (Approaches to have ramps paved with 1.5% grades to allow for mobility of traffic) and all work included in Work Package B under Taxiway Echo and to 5 m easterly and 5 m westerly of edge of pavement of Taxiway Echo, including restoration of asphalt surfaces to the current Taxiway grades is to be completed no later than December 15, 2022. Information provided by the Tenderers will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Invitation to Tender. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Invitation to Tender is to select the Tenderer who will achieve a minimum score of 66%, who has submitted the lowest Total Tender Amount and who has submitted a compliant Tender. The estimated construction cost of this project is in the order of magnitude of $4,850,000. Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Submissions through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System.
