The qualification list will expire within 60 days or upon award of a contract in Phase Two, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. Bids must be submitted using the CPC connect service. The solicitation number must be identified in the CPC Connect message field of all electronic transfers. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has a requirement, on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans for Cheticamp Jobs Wharf - Floating Dock Construction, Cheticamp, NS. The work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for Cheticamp Jobs Wharf - Floating Dock Construction. In general, work under this contract will consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following: 1. Demolition and removal of the existing timber pile wharf structure. 2. Dredging of the harbour bottom as indicated on the drawings, and disposal of dredged material at designated sites. 3. Modifications to existing breakwater, including repair of the end of breakwater, raising the grade of the entire breakwater by placing of new fill and installation of slope protection. 4. Modification to the upland area, including placement of fill, grading and installation of slope protection. 5. Supply and install new floating docks, strongarms and gangways and concrete abutments and retaining walls. 6. Demolition and removal of existing electrical fixture and equipment as indicated. 7. Supply and install new electrical power, lighting fixtures and equipment as indicated. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account of error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply.
