The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation. Bidders are required to submit bids electronically using Canada Post Corporation’s (CPC) Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows bidders to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. Work Description: The work completed under this contract shall include the supply of all equipment, labour and materials necessary for the performance of the work. All waste material shall be disposed of by the Contractor in strict accordance with provincial, local and municipal regulations and Part 8 of the National Building Code and with the Canadian Construction Safety Code. The project site is located at Port Edward Small Craft Harbour, 200 Bayview Drive, Port Edward, BC V0V 1G0 The work to be carried out under this contract generally includes the following mandatory work: 1. Mobilization/Demobilization 2. Demolition of Existing Structures and Materials 3. Grade and Compact Existing Subbase Material 4. Paving The following is a list of optional work items that are located towards at the south end of the project site. The Owner will determine whether or not the optional work is to be completed prior to executing the contract: 1. Demolition of Existing Structures and Materials (south end of the project site) 2. Storm System 3. Grade and Compact Existing Base Material (south end of the project site) 4. Paving (south end of the project site) Delivery Date: All mandatory Work Items including clean-up and demobilization must be completed by December 20, 2022. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $1,000,001 and $5,000,000.
