Description:

Description:

Description: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Faust Detachment in Faust, Alberta, has a requirement for the Supply and Delivery of Snow Clearing and Snow Removal Services and Grounds Maintenance Services. Delivery Date: The proposed period of the contract is a twenty-four (24) month period from the Contract Start Date, covering the actual work to be performed for Grounds Maintenance Services and/or the Snow Clearing and Removal Services. The Grounds Maintenance Service Contract is required for six (6) months each year from May 1st through to October 31st. The Snow Clearing and Removal Service Contract is required for six (6) months each year from November 1st through to April 30th. In the event the Contract Start Date commences after the first month of either service season, the contract period will be changed to reflect the time frame. This will be defined by the Contracting Authority, resulting in a contract period of less than twenty-four (24) months. If the Contract Start Date would commence with less than half of a normal six (6) month service season, the Contract period will be revised to commence the first month of the following service season, resulting in a twenty-four (24) month contract period. The contract includes an irrevocable option to extend it for up to two additional twelve (12) month periods under the same conditions. Security: The Contractor (if an individual) and all of the contractor’s personnel/subcontractors who may work on site must hold a valid “Facility Access Level 2 (FA-2) Status Security Clearance” issued by RCMP Departmental Security. Optional Site Visit: An optional site visit is being offered, refer to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) for details regarding the site visit. Basis of selection: A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. Bidders may bid on either the Snow Clearing Services or Grounds Maintenance Services or both, and that each service category will be evaluated separately, and therefore up to 2 contracts may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Requirements are in accordance with the Statements of Work in Annex A – Parts 1 and 2, and the Mandatory Technical Criteria detailed in the Annex B of the Invitation to Tender document. Tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit as per page one of the Invitation to Tender (ITT). Refer to the attached tender documents to obtain further information. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation. Canada will make available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at http://www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties. In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments, including significant enquiries received and their replies, using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information. Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part nor for notification services offered by a third party.
